Our honeymoon phase ended earlier than the "experts said they would. When the dust settled and the stars fell from our eyes, I realized we had a lot of work and a LONG road ahead of us. Instead of the ideal of a man I'd envisioned I was married to my husband. The longer we stayed together the more keys to my heart God gave my husband and vice versa. In addition to seeing potential, dreams and hopes unlocked was pain, repressed fear and anger.
In the third year of my marriage God taught me that He holds the keys to my and my husband's heart. Part of loving God and allowing God to love each other through each other is accepting He holds the keys.No matter what comes out of the doors we must offer it up to God and cover each other in prayer.
